For organizations that use a SCIM-based IdP (identity provider) solution, incident.io allows you to manage users and permissions from your IdP. Additionally your users and user groups will be synced to the incident.io catalog, making them available for use in workflows and in our on-call product. To integrate with SCIM, navigate to Settings → Integrations and search for Okta. Click the Okta tile to open its drawer, then click Connect SCIM on the Automatic user provisioning (SCIM) row. The Automatic user provisioning (SCIM) row on the Okta tile, with a Connect SCIM button This will launch the SCIM directory sync flow, powered by WorkOS. You can select a provider from the list, or manually enter the details of your own provider if required. In this guide, we’ll use Okta but WorkOS provides comprehensive instructions on the next step for all of their supported providers. Note: Common issues with Okta push group setup are covered in this guide . Once you’ve completed the flow and successfully verified your credentials, your SCIM directory will begin to sync with incident.io. This can take some time. Click Add assignment to map one of your SCIM groups to an incident.io role.
